I have 6ft dish with prime focussed towards 66.0 E. Becuase of the number of a few hindi channels, i tried to make it multi lnb setup....
I made a metal strip with a some holes on it to connect 2nd LNB.
& I calculated the 2nd LNB distance by following formula...
Dish Dia, D = 180 cm
Depth, d = 29 cm
Focul length, f = 180^(2) / 16 x 29 = 69.888
Approx, 70 cm
Angle b/w 2 lnb = 83.0 - 66.0 (as insat 4a is my choice)
= 17 deg
Lnb distance = 70 X tan (17) = 21.4 cm
i.e 21.4 cm center to center...
Then I placed the strip on to North side (i.e it expands toward North)... Then I fixed the scalar ring & then lnb. But while checking the signal quality, I won't get nothing... Tried many times with increasing & decreasing the distance b/w 2 lnb & also with lnb skew... Why I can't catch this bird ? ( I also tried with Thaicom, apstar & Abs with strong TPs, there also same result...)
I checked many users images & all of them have the lnbs placed in same stright line... Me too adopted that one, so kindly help me...
Is I placed it on correct direction ?
