The satellite is equipped with 32 Ku-band transponders and 2 Ka-band. Express-AT1 supposed to be placed in a geostationary orbit at distances 56E. Satellite launch is scheduled for March 16 from the Baikonur "cosmodrome" in Kazakhstan, carrier rocket "Proton".
